(earliest sighting and spread), read the file's own metadata, test for uneven editing, read text inside the picture and give one-click reverse-search links. Results are signals: "earliest observed" is not "the source", and "possible edit" is not proof.
This page cannot tell whether a picture is AI-generated or a deepfake; that needs a specialist detector.
